Rajasthan Computer Instructor Admit Card 2026: Exam Highlights & Overview

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB / RSSB), Jaipur has officially issued the examination notification for the Basic Computer Instructor and Senior Computer Instructor Joint Direct Recruitment Examination 2026 (Advt No. 07/2026). According to the press release, the written examination for Basic Computer Instructor will be held on August 22, 2026, while the Senior Computer Instructor exam will take place on August 23, 2026.

Candidates appearing for these recruitment exams can check their allocated exam city district starting from August 14, 2026, by logging into their SSO ID portal. The provisional e-admit card (hall ticket) will be made available for download from August 19, 2026 onwards.

Both Basic and Senior Computer Instructor recruitment exams will be conducted across two distinct shifts on their respective exam dates. Each candidate must appear in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 on the specified day:

Candidates can check their allotted exam center district from August 14, 2026. To view the allotted city, log in to your Rajasthan Single Sign-On (SSO) portal using your credentials and open the 'Recruitment Portal' tab. The exact venue address and center details will be printed on the official provisional admit card.

How to Download Rajasthan Computer Instructor Admit Card 2026

The recruitment board will not dispatch hard copies of admit cards by post. Candidates must download their hall tickets online by following these steps:

1. Visit the official RSSB portal at rssb.rajasthan.gov.in or open the Rajasthan Recruitment Portal.
2. Click on the 'Get Admit Card' option available on the homepage.
3. Select "Computer Instructor Direct Recruitment Examination 2026".
4. Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth (DOB).
5. Click 'Submit' to display your provisional e-admit card on the screen.
6. Download the PDF and print a clear copy for exam day usage.

Alternatively, candidates can log into sso.rajasthan.gov.in, navigate to 'Citizen Apps' > 'Recruitment Portal', and download the admit card directly from the 'Get Admit Card' tab.

Reporting Time & Gate Closure Rules

To ensure proper frisking, biometric registration, and facial recognition checks, candidates must report at the exam center 2 hours prior to the scheduled exam start time.

• Morning Shift (10:00 AM start): Center entry gates close strictly at 09:00 AM.
• Afternoon Shift (03:00 PM start): Center entry gates close strictly at 02:00 PM.
• Strict Warning: Entry gates close exactly 1 hour before the exam starts. No candidate will be allowed inside under any circumstances after the gates are locked.

Mandatory Documents to Carry at Exam Center

Candidates must carry the following essential items to the exam hall:

• Clear printed copy of the Provisional E-Admit Card.
• Original Photo Identity Proof (Aadhaar Card containing complete Date of Birth). If required, alternative IDs like PAN Card, Passport, Driving Licence, or Voter ID are acceptable.
• Recent Passport-Size Color Photograph (2.5 cm × 2.5 cm) - photo must be less than 1 month old and un-tampered. Carry separate photos for each paper shift.
• Transparent Blue Ink Ballpoint Pen.

Dress Code & Prohibited Items

The RSSB board enforces strict dress code rules to maintain exam integrity:

1. Dress Code Guidelines

• Male Candidates: Half or full-sleeve shirts, T-shirts, kurta-pyjama, or trousers/pants. Slippers, sandals, or low shoes/socks (up to ankle level) are permitted.
• Female Candidates: Salwar suit, chunni, saree, half or full-sleeve shirt/kurta/blouse. Only simple rubber bands are allowed for tying hair.
• Sikh Candidates: Allowed religious symbols such as Kada, Kirpan (small & covered), and Turban. They must arrive 2 hours early for screening.
• Note on Jeans: Wearing jeans is discouraged. Candidates wearing jeans will undergo detailed security checks and fill out an undertaking form before entry.

2. Prohibited Items

do not bring metallic ornaments, rings, bracelets, hairpins, caps, scarves, shawls, watches (analog or smartwatches), mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, calculators, purses, bags, geometry boxes, or water bottles. The exam center will not provide storage facilities for personal belongings.

Post-Exam Answer Key & Objection Procedure

Following the conclusion of the examination, RSSB will upload the master question paper and official answer keys on its official portal. Candidates will be provided a 72-hour window to file online objections against any answer key discrepancies. A non-refundable fee of ₹100 per objection must be submitted through the prescribed online portal.
