RRB JE Recruitment 2026 Notification Out for 4029 Posts: Apply Online

Awaiting final exam results makes candidates ineligible. Qualifications must be completed on or before the closing date of 13 September 2026.

Age Limit & Relaxations (As on 01.01.2027)

The standard age limit for all posts under CEN 04/2026 is 18 to 33 years. Upper age relaxations are granted as per Government of India rules:

• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years relaxation

Selection Process & Exam Pattern

Selection will be carried out in four sequential stages: 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I), 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II), Document Verification (DV), and Medical Examination (ME).

1st Stage CBT (Screening Test)

CBT-I is common for all posts and serves as a shortlisting exam. Duration is 90 minutes for 100 questions:

2nd Stage CBT (Technical Standard)

Candidates equal to 15 times the community-wise vacancy of each RRB will be shortlisted for CBT-II based on CBT-I merit. Duration is 120 minutes for 150 questions:
