AIIMS Jodhpur Project Nurse III Recruitment 2026: Overview & Key Details

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur has invited applications for the recruitment of 01 Project Nurse III post on a purely temporary basis under the Extramural ICMR Research Project titled "Assessing Phenytoin and Levetiracetam Efficacy, Cost-Effectiveness and CYP2C9/SV2A Polymorphism in Early Post-Traumatic Seizures: A Multicentric Prospective Randomized Trial." The project is being conducted under Principal Investigator Dr. Jaskaran Singh Gosal, Additional Professor, Department of Neurosurgery, AIIMS Jodhpur.

Eligibility Criteria: Qualifications & Age Limit

1. Educational Qualification & Experience

• Essential Qualification: Minimum Second Class or equivalent CGPA in a 4-year Nursing course (B.Sc Nursing), OR GNM with Post Basic B.Sc Nursing / equivalent from a recognized University/Board.
• Desirable Qualifications:
  • Previous 6-month work experience in research projects is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications.
• Note: All educational, professional, and technical qualifications must be from recognized institutions and completed on a full-time regular basis. Specified experience must have been acquired after obtaining the minimum essential qualification.

2. Age Limit & Concessions

• Maximum Age Limit: 35 Years (reckoned as on the last date of the advertisement / interview date).
• Age Concession: Age relaxation to the extent of service rendered in other ICMR research projects may be admissible for experienced and skilled candidates on a case-to-case basis as per ICMR project guidelines.

Salary & Monthly Emoluments

The appointed candidate will receive a fixed consolidated salary of ₹28,000/- + House Rent Allowance (HRA) per month. The remuneration is a consolidated sum without entitlement to other regular allowances, pensionary benefits, or permanent service claims.

Job Profile & Core Responsibilities

The selected Project Nurse III will work under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator (Dr. Jaskaran Singh Gosal) and will be responsible for the following clinical and trial duties:

• Direct patient care and clinical nursing management in the Department of Neurosurgery.
• Assessment of patient compliance and scheduled administration of prescribed study medications/tablets.
• Collection of qualitative and quantitative clinical trial data and accurate entry into Case Report Forms (CRF).
• Collection, handling, and labeling of biological samples for biochemical and molecular parameter analysis.

Selection Process & Terms of Engagement

• Walk-in Assessment: Selection is based on document verification and personal interview. However, the Competent Authority reserves the right to conduct a Screening/Scrutiny Test if the number of applicants is large.
• Temporary Nature: The post is filled purely on a temporary basis, co-terminus with the project duration (initially for 6 months). Selection confers no right to claim regular employment or absorption at AIIMS Jodhpur.
• No TA/DA: No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided for attending the walk-in interview.
• NOC Requirement: Candidates currently working in Government or Public Sector Undertakings must produce a 'No Objection Certificate' (NOC) at the time of the interview.
