Educational Qualification

Candidates must fulfill the qualifications prescribed under either Route A or Route B on or before 3 October 2026:

  • Route A:
    • B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing, regular course in B.Sc. Nursing, or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized University or Institute.
    • Registered as a Nurse or Nurse & Midwife (RN or RN & RM) with a State Nursing Council.
  • Route B:
    • Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized Board or Council.
    • Registered as a Nurse or Nurse & Midwife with a State Nursing Council.
    • One year of experience in a hospital with a minimum capacity of 50 beds, acquired strictly after obtaining the GNM diploma.
