Category-Wise Vacancy Breakdown

The total 32 vacancies are distributed across social categories as per Odisha reservation standards. Mandatory Odia Language Proficiency

Candidates must be able to speak, read, and write Odia and must satisfy at least one of the four qualification routes below:

1. Passed Middle English (M.E.) School or a higher examination with Odia as a language subject.
2. Passed Matriculation or an equivalent examination with Odia as the medium of examination in a non-language subject.
3. Passed Odia as a language subject in the final examination of Class VII from a recognized school.
4. Passed an Odia test of M.E. School standard conducted by the School & Mass Education Department or the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.

The recruitment selection consists of the following clear stages:

1. Written Examination: Objective-type multiple-choice test consisting of two papers (100 marks each; total 200 marks) held on 22 November 2026 at Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.

Minimum Qualifying Standards & Tie-Breaking Rules

• UR and SEBC Candidates: Minimum 50% marks
• PwD Candidates: Minimum 45% marks
• SC and ST Candidates: Minimum 40% marks
• Tie-Breaking: When two or more candidates obtain equal marks in the written examination, the candidate with higher marks in the BAMS examination is ranked higher. If BAMS marks are also equal, the elder candidate according to date of birth receives higher merit.
