Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit

1. TGT (Mathematics)

• Age Limit: 21 to 35 years as on 31 October 2026.
• Essential Qualification: 4 years integrated degree course from an NCTE recognized university with at least 50% marks in Mathematics as well as in aggregate including B.Ed. component; OR Bachelor’s/Honours Degree with at least 50% marks in Mathematics, combination of subjects, and in aggregate, along with a B.Ed. Degree with at least 50% marks from an NCTE recognized institution.
• Must be qualified in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET Paper-II) conducted by CBSE.
• Proficiency in teaching in English medium is mandatory.
• Desirable: Post Graduate degree in Mathematics, teaching experience in an English medium residential public school, proficiency in games/co-curricular activities, and knowledge of computer applications.

2. TGT (Science)

• Age Limit: 21 to 35 years as on 31 October 2026.
• Essential Qualification: 4 years integrated degree course from an NCTE recognized university with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject (preferably Physics) as well as in aggregate including B.Ed. component; OR Bachelor’s/Honours Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject (preferably Physics), combination of subjects, and in aggregate, along with a B.Ed. Degree with at least 50% marks.
• Must be qualified in CTET Paper-II conducted by CBSE.
• Proficiency in teaching in English medium is mandatory.
• Desirable: Post Graduate degree in Physics, residential school teaching experience, games proficiency, and computer knowledge.

3. TGT (English)

• Age Limit: 21 to 35 years as on 31 October 2026.
• Essential Qualification: 4 years integrated degree course from an NCTE recognized university with at least 50% marks in English as well as in aggregate including B.Ed. component; OR Bachelor’s/Honours Degree with at least 50% marks in English, combination of subjects, and in aggregate, along with a B.Ed. Degree with at least 50% marks.
• Must be qualified in CTET Paper-II conducted by CBSE.
• Proficiency in teaching in English medium is mandatory.
• Desirable: Post Graduate degree in English, teaching experience in a residential public school, games proficiency, and computer knowledge.

4. TGT (Computer Science)

• Age Limit: 21 to 35 years as on 31 October 2026.
• Essential Qualification: BCA with at least 50% marks; OR Graduation in Computer Science/IT with at least 50% marks (studied as a main subject in all years); OR BE/B.Tech (CS/IT) with at least 50% marks.
• B.Ed Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) with at least 50% marks; OR 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed with at least 50% marks; OR 4-year integrated degree with at least 50% marks including B.Ed component from an NCTE recognized institution.
• Must be qualified in CTET Paper-II conducted by CBSE.
• Desirable: Proficiency in Python Language / AI with Robotics, experience in English medium residential public schools, and sports/co-curricular proficiency.

5. Mess Manager

• Age Limit: 18 to 50 years as on 31 October 2026.
• Essential Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience running a catering organisation independently in civil, Defence Services, or any similar organisation.
• Ability to maintain mess accounts.
• Desirable: Diploma/Degree in catering, or JCO/equivalent from catering trade or with over 5 years catering experience.

Application Fee

The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid through a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of Sainik School Chittorgarh, payable at Chittorgarh.

Selection Process and Exam Pattern

The selection process comprises a Written Examination followed by practical assessments for shortlisted candidates. Only candidates securing the minimum qualifying marks in the written test are called for the subsequent stages:

• For TGT Posts: Written Test → Class Demonstration (teaching topic based on Class 9th and 10th syllabus) → Proficiency/Skill Test → Interview.
• For Mess Manager: Written Test → Proficiency / Skill Test → Interview.

Written Examination Scheme

Key Service Conditions

• Probation: Appointed candidates will serve a probation period of 1 year, extendable up to 2 years.
• Accommodation: Rent-free accommodation is provided inside the campus (if available), and staying inside the school campus is mandatory.
• Retirement Age: 60 years as per prevailing rules (Vacational staff for TGTs, Non-vacational for Mess Manager).
• Transferability: Staff members are liable to be transferred to any Sainik School across India under the Sainik Schools Society.

2. Print the application form on an A4 size paper (both sides).
3. Fill out the form clearly using a Blue Pen in BLOCK CAPITAL LETTERS only.
4. Affix a recent passport-size photograph without cap or headgear in the designated space.
5. Get a Demand Draft (DD) made for Rs. 500/- (UR/OBC) or Rs. 250/- (SC/ST) in favour of Sainik School Chittorgarh, payable at Chittorgarh.
6. Enclose self-attested photocopies of all required supporting documents:
