• Operator Excavating Machinery (OEM): 10th Pass along with a valid heavy motor vehicle (HMV) driving license and experience in driving Dozers, Excavators, or other heavy mechanical construction machinery.
• Electrician: 10th Pass plus an Auto Electrician certificate from an ITI with 1 year of experience OR a basic Defence Trade Certificate.

Selection Process: Step-by-Step Breakdown

The recruitment selection matrix consists of five separate filtration stages:

• Step 1: Shortlisting of Applications: Offline applications are checked and candidates are shortlisted based on their educational certificate marks.
• Step 2: Written Examination: This is the most crucial stage. The final merit list is completely generated based on the marks you secure in this offline written test.
• Step 3: Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates passing the written cut-off must pass basic physical qualification tests. This is qualifying in nature. Note: PwD, Agniveer, and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from the physical run test.
• Step 4: Practical Trade Test: A hands-on trade test where candidates must secure a minimum of 40% marks to qualify. This will not add to your merit calculation.
• Step 5: Medical Examination: Full fitness checkups by military medical practitioners before issuance of individual joining mandates.

How to Fill the BRO Recruitment Offline Application Form?

Since the form submission is completely offline, please follow these instructions carefully to minimize mistakes:

2. Print out the application form pages cleanly on high-quality white A4 paper sheets. Keep in mind that the admit card section must be printed on both sides of a single page.
