Educational Qualification Requirements
Candidates must ensure they satisfy the minimum technical and language qualifications prescribed for their specific post:
- Junior Engineer (Civil) Degree: Degree in Civil Engineering from a university incorporated by law in India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government. Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture is mandatory.
- Junior Engineer (Civil) Diploma: Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution or equivalent qualification recognized by the Institution of Engineers, along with practical Hindi and Rajasthani culture knowledge.
- Junior Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical) Diploma: Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution or equivalent qualification recognized by the Institution of Engineers, plus working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and Rajasthani culture.
Note: Candidates appearing in their final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply, provided they acquire the prescribed educational qualification on or before the date of the recruitment examination.
Age Limit & Category Relaxation
The age calculation cut-off date is 1 January 2027. Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have reached 40 years of age. Because the combined JEN examination was not conducted in the previous cycle, all applicants receive an additional 1-year general age relaxation over the upper limit.

Salary & Pay Matrix
Junior Engineers selected under this recruitment receive compensation under Pay Matrix Level L-10.
